Simple help for a simple app
Add your details
Moosac! will ask for your details when you first open the app. These are only used when you create an invoice or receipt. You can also add your invoice logo here if you have one.
Add items
Moosac! is arranged into 3 tabs (at the bottom of the screen on iOS, at the top on Mac). 'Work' is where you add clients and work, 'Invoices' is where you can send invoices and receipts. Once you've added a client, you can add work for that client.
Work
The 'All work' page (accessed from the Work tab) shows a list of all of your work. A red dollar or invoice logo indicates that the work hasn't been paid or invoiced.
Edit work
Add notes to your work (to be included on invoice), and mark work as paid here (in case you've decided not to
issue an invoice).
Work would usually be marked as paid automatically when you mark the invoice as paid.
Create invoices
Create an invoice from the 'Invoices' tab.
The start number for your invoices and your Service Tax rate can be set in the 'Settings' tab.
Discounts can be a percentage, an amount, or even a combination of both!
Invoices and receipts
Once an invoice has been saved, you can send it via text or email. The invoice will include any logo that you've added.
If you delete an invoice, the work will remain. You can delete the work, or issue another invoice.
Once an invoice has been paid, select it from the 'Unpaid Invoices' button in the Invoices tab, and click on the 'Paid?' button. This will also mark the relevant work as paid.
Receipts can be created from the individual invoice page - press the menu button in the top right.
Settings tab
You can add or change any of your details from the 'Settings' tab (Click on 'Edit your details in the top left on Mac).
